Too Hot to Handle's Harry Explains His Side of the Francesca Break Up (2024)

Too Hot to Handle's Harry Jowsey has broken his silence and shared his side of the story regarding his and Francesca Farago's breakup. Farago posted a nearly six-minute video earlier this week where she explained that Jowsey broke up from her and said some of the rumors about him were true. Jowsey addressed some of her claims in his own 10-minute response video.

Farago had discussed how he had issues with their arguments: "We would argue every now and then, but it was never, for me, relationship-ending, and I think for him, small little things just ended up turning into relationship-ending arguments."

She also said he wanted her to hold off publicly announcing the split: "I was like, 'Okay, if this is what you want, then let’s announce to everyone,'" she said. "He said that he didn’t want to do that yet because there was rumors and accusations being brought up by people and stuff like that, so he didn’t want to validate those things by releasing that we were going to take a break."

Then she discussed the accusations about him and how their break became permanent despite appearing not to be at first:

I personally, genuinely thought that it was just like a two-week thing, and we were going to be fine when I move there, and everything was going to be amazing, and we were messaging each other everyday saying we missed each other and sending photos and tagging each other in memes, and sending each other the wedding pictures, like everything was normal. Our relationship felt like it was still 100 percent on. I was like, "Okay, perfect, we’re on a break but we’re not. He’s messaging me everyday saying he misses me, we’re FaceTiming, we’re calling, so we’re obviously still together. Like, we’re talking every single day." I was just wrong. He is not the person for me, so.

There were a lot of rumors that came up that turned out to be true, and I was getting sent a lot of screenshots and messages. I didn’t want to believe it because how could you have a wedding folder with someone and how could you propose to someone but you’re also saying, "I can’t be with you because of the distance"? Just, it makes me feel like I was being played. I’m just like sad with myself for letting myself be put through these situations. I don’t think anyone should stay in a situation where you’re extremely unhappy, and you’re not being treated the way you should be treated. There’s a lot more to the story; I just can’t emotionally put myself through this anymore, so I’m really sorry, guys, and I know this is probably hard for a lot of people to watch, and it’s really hard for me as well.

Jowsey, in his video response, touched on the rumors, saying, via E!, "There is literally nothing to hide and I'm an open book. I'm open and transparent about absolutely everything. Francesca knows exactly what was going on between us. I never lied to her about anything. I've always had my location shared with her so she can see where I'm at all times."

He also spoke about their arguments and dynamic, saying, "When we were together, we were always on edge, always. We would have the highest highs—the best highs, like, the happiest moments of my entire life were with her. But when things were bad, they were really bad. So every time we would fight, it would just be the worst and most depressed times in my entire life. I can't stress that enough."

He ended by saying he broke up with her because of his own mental health not being where it needs to be. "I knew that if I continued to be with Francesca, it would end up with her being seriously heartbroken or me continuing to be seriously depressed in the relationship," he said. "She's a wonderful person. She's so gorgeous and everyone's right. She's well and truly out of my league. She's a superstar and I'm so proud of her."
